Stephen Su, General Director of IEK, was invited to share “S&T Foresight Research Practice and Learning in Taiwan” at the the 2nd Asian Innovation Forum (AIF) will be held in Seoul on August 30-31, 2016, hosted by KISTEP. In this presentation, Stephen first communicated that IEK’s Vision 2020 is to be the World-class Think Tank to Lead Taiwan Industries in Value Creation. He then talked about the S&T foresight research which was funded by MOEA/DOIT since 2006 focusing on technology foresight in 10+ years for Taiwan. Next he introduced IEK’s Research Framework of Foresight Study being in the form of Innovation Trend Tree. For future perspective, IEK is helping Taiwan’s MOST to launch its own S&T Foresight study.
